select linked smooth surfaces#65

For extrusions and offsets i often want to use a whole “smooth” surface.
It would be nice to have a feature like “Select similar” maybe add select by normal where you can set a threshhold value to select similar facing surfaces. etc.

We’d like to mention a functionality that will facilitate your selecting, the “Brush Selection”. As demonstrated here (at 02:24), you simply keep the “B” key down, while you pass your mouse over the faces to be selected.
